Members of Columbia indie rock favorites ET Anderson and Dear Blanca took a heavier detour as Sack Blabbath back in December, covering Ozzie and company for New Brookland Tavern’s annual New Year’s masquerade. Taken by the music’s hefty and groovy potential, they started to write their own songs. Core Sample, which debuts its original material at Freeway, was born.
